Russell Stannard is a multi award-winning Educational Technologist and founder of teachertrainingvideos.com. He received awards from the British Council ELTONS, the Times Higher and the University of Westminster for his work in the use of ICT in education. He is especially known for his work in using technology to enhance feedback, teaching online and blended/flipped learning. Russell was previously a Principal Educational Technologist at the University of Warwick and the University of Westminster. He currently works as a consultant on educational technology at Kings College University London and as an associate trainer at NILE. where he teachers on the MA programme and runs courses in blended/flipped learning. He has more than 60,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel

Description
As technology has come to shape the nature of the educational environment, professional updating in technological development that has an impact on academic activities has become an issue of great relevance. With this in mind, our online seminar aims to keep teachers equipped with the skills necessary to facilitate student learning regardless of their geographic location and analyse how technological advances facilitate educational growth, especially in English language teaching. This webinar will gather internationally recognised specialists who will discuss the incorporation of ESL/EFL teaching methodologies within this environment and the use of it to encourage autonomous learning.
